How Wimpy Can You Get?

I get plenty of exercise at work. Here’s my stair stepper. I also get a lot of iso type exercise by having to balance materials on the way up and down, wearing a pouch full of tools and fasteners, and carrying extra tools. Oh, I’m 55, and the only guy fit enough to go up.
Oh man! I remember those days of windows and roofing.
Up the ladder with a bundle on each shoulder, no hands on the ladder, just feet moving upwards & fast!
Produce or be fired!!!

Reps build strength and muscle, not necessarily heavy weights. If you can’t do many pushups, do more reps on a bench press using less weight until you can.

And you definitely want more protein in your diet when trying to build muscle...especially important for older folks.
Heavy weights add size & much strength.
Lots of reps add a more defined muscle and medium strength.
Adding carbs is good, cutting out starches and carbs after lunch at a minimum is what will get your weight down. The less carbs and starch, the better for building muscles and dropping weight. I cut 70lbs. In that very fashion.

Eating starches and carbs is OK, but you have to be aware of how it effects you personally. Some can eat a lot and be fine, some can’t eat but a speck and out on weight.
