What did I do today.
Failed at math
I tried to measure the length of driveshaft I need in a car that was missing the original driveshaft.
Convinced I had the math right, i acquired a used driveshaft from a salvage yard, brought it home and changed the u joints to brand new joints since the used ones have been outside for probably 20 or 30, maybe even 40 years.
Went to put it in the car thinking I was home free.
Overshot it by about 2 inches.
So I guess I need to go back and find one 2 inches shorter and repeat.
