I have the white foam gasket that I forgot to slip on the steering against the firewall...but what am I missing that bolts on those 3 bolts around the steering?

Your missing the seal and two bolts in the center that seals the column to the plate with the three bolts . There is a large black rubber doughnut seal that goes between the two plates and then a white foam gasket between the triangle plate and the firewall as seen.

the 3 bolts that are missing are nothing special . I used stainless bolts . Unless you are doing a numbers matching 100% original . If you can't get the foam seal on put a bead of non hardening chaulk around the plate where it meets the firewall and call it good

What is around the column inside passenger compartment now? Looks like somethings there now? Column has to come back out to put seal and steel plate on. Or maybe if steering wheel is off can slip over that end?

Besides white foam gasket, that mounting plate also has a rubber "O" ring between its two pieces.

Looks like I have a 3 bolt plate with a two bolt plate on top of that one on the inside of firewall. Same as in pics posted by Oldmanmopar. I will put the white foam gasket on the inside.

Post #5 is the shizzle. That's all you need to know.
