What is a cast iron 2bbl intake worth
Probably so. It pisses me off more people don't try to specialize in older car salvage yards. nobody cares anymore. It's all about the almighty dollar.
Texas is a big state, huge. Hard to find any old yards, especially these that specialize in such. There is one up near Wichita Falls, He has pics on FB every week showing his latest old junker hauled in. Cool place and owner. Browne's, Sunset, Tx.
I admit I get sorta bummed now days , because I love the hunt for decent projects at the price I feel a project is actually worth. I can't keep them all, so I have to not be in one upside down when it needs to find a new loving home!! Like all us old guys I remember the days of big old yards full of old cars, cheap parts and projects.
I have always lived NOT where the population is and thus lots of people and cars. Back East there are lots of old cars, but the RUST!!! Lots of people and parts, but you guys are 1000 mi away!!! ha
Super six setups I say worth $250-350 if complete with all the brackets, kickdown. Last one I got came off a junker pickup for $75 but it was not in a boneyard.
