Hello. Old guy, new member.

Just joined- longtime lurker, first time poster; yadda yadda.
I've been wrenching on and beating on A bodies for better than 45 years- had some cool stuff, had some real beaters; but all fun. Wish I could have kept them all. Current projects are a '66 Dart wagon, '75 Swinger and '66 D200 Sweptline. Waiting in the stable for their turn are a trio of '68 Darts: a GT convertible and 2 VERY ratty GTSs.
Historically, I've had GTSs, early Valiants, a couple of Dusters and Scamps, a couple of AMCs (favorite was a '79 Spirit AMX with a swapped in 401 and 4 speed- never should have let that one go...) and a bunch of Jeeps. Back in the day I ran a '72 Colt bracket car (340/4 spd./8 3/4) and did a number of smallblock swaps in gen. 2 Colts, Arrows and D50s for other people. Too many cars and projects over the years to list.
Life and family took precedence for many years, but now I'm semi-retired and am getting back into things- hopefully I can start making a dent in my project backlog!
I've always enjoyed surfing this site, and now maybe I can offer up some info I've learned over the years. I don't claim to know it all, and there's always more than one way to skin a cat, too.
I'm not one to make frivolous posts just to run up my count, or post just to express an opinion that doesn't pertain to the question at hand. I won't reply to someone who can't formulate a coherent question- if you can't take the time to compose a legible message, you probably won't take the time to do the job right anyhow (grumpy old coot here). I'll try to help if I can, and ask for help if I need it. I've seen a lot of things, but I hope I'm never too old to learn something new!
Tim
