What’s the best kit to put disc brakes on a 63 Dart

I’ve got a 63 Dart wagon and the tiny front drums are worn out. What’s the best kit to change to disc and keep the small bolt pattern. Apparently something was different between the 63’s and the later models

I'm lookin more and more at the Scarebird kit. I like that it uses late model still able to get parts.
 
Scarebird is by far the least expensive. For cheapest price, buy just the adapter plates from them and source the calipers & rotors locally, ebay, or rock, usually GM or Toyota PN's. You will have to redrill the wheel lug holes in the rotor. I recall they provide a paper template. The other option is to change the whole spindle to a 1973+ one or even a later Volare/Aspen one. Many posts.
 
Scarebird allows you to use the 9" drum spindle IIRC. holes are not that critical as Mopars are hubcentric.
 
I used the Scarebird set up on my '65 Dart Gt HP273/904 several years ago. Easy install and works great with the dual master/power booster. Also used the Scarebird on my '61 & '67 D100's.

The Wilwood kit will not work with the original SBP wheels. The hub diameter on the Wilwoods requires a 3.050” hub bore.

In fact, the Wilwood kit with the new hub they started using a few years ago fits very few SBP wheels still available.

Really defeats the purpose of staying SBP if you have to buy all new wheels anyway.
 
There is always the option of using factory 1965-72 Kelsey Hayes disc brakes. It's not too difficult to get what you need right here on FABO.
 
I have a pj power booster and dual master kit. fit well and works...also cheap

The pirate jack kit is just a 73+ mopar disk conversion. It has big ball joint spindles and increases the track width just like the 73+ BBP conversion. Pirate Jack just orders the rotors as blanks and has them drilled for SBP and turns down the hub register a little.

So they’re good brakes, they use pretty much all stock, off the shelf 73+ mopar parts except for the rotors themselves. But they also increase track width and require large ball joint UCA’s or tapered ball joint adaptors. They also don’t fit all the original SBP drum wheels. They fit the SBP disk wheels, but some of the earlier drum wheels have center bores that are too small.
