Universal steering couplers

When your chassis is as rigid as a 'caged race-car, it's not required. When your car has a hundred thousand miles on a structure that wasn't stellar to begin with...well, someone makes it so you need to install it.

All I did was compliment her tastes. Sorry I hurt your feelings.
Needed it to clear my damn headers!

Not stellar!!!??? Blasphemy, I say! So the same engineers that designed the perfect steering coupler, were wrong when they claimed this? Now I'm confused.

Maybe next time don't cite a Chrysler ad bragging about their rust-proof paint-dipping process.

Have you had any issues with the entire bearing moving slightly while steering? Mine has a very slight wobble inside the housing which is messing with wheel return. I could have someone tack the bearing into the housing but I don't think that you did that right?
No, I didn't. Actually mine was a pretty tight tap in fit. On the shaft and in the column.
