Try find vinyl that is stretchy for sure, much easier to work with. Avoid any kind of heavy duty stuff even if it's free. I used the heavy duty stuff when I worked for the railroad. My job description at one time stated "must be able to weld and sew". No kidding. I did learn a lot about upholstery back then. Lol
