Shiii, we tossed laptops, PC's and tablets because they were security risks running android and Win7! Its amazing what a corp sees as waste or recycle or ? We PAY a service to haul away hundreds of pounds of scrap copper wire and gel batteries. The little Gell sealed FIOS backup batteries are worth $5 a piece at a battery shop and the copper is still ~$1.50 a lb. I asked for all the alkaline AA, C, D and 9V batteries we go through (hundreds a month) and put in a special bucket for a school battery drive (put on by our local waste management company). winning school gets $500 in school supplies. The ***** said NO, it was controlled waste and we had to have it hauled off and disposed of properly. I told her it was the Trash/recycle company but she wouldn't budge. That company bucket was pretty light the next few months....
