AWD vs RWD

-
Take away from the above video. Gears and converter will make it happen. Custom converter if at all possible, but at least 5000 rpm stall.

And a good bit of bottle. That is also a stroker motor. But his brother has one that is stock bottom end magnum on spray that is in the 10's

AWD along with higher compression, bigger intake valves and an M1 intake is a good start.
Oh and the engine controller calibration will be ok too.

I’m gonna go with carb.

The video of the two jeeps kind of confused me which way to go now :) both ways seem like a decent option.

If you stick with fuel injection Ryan, of Flyin Ryan Performance, is the guy to talk to for tuning. He is the keyboard behind that jeep ^

Your budget will be the decision maker.
4 wheel would be more interesting, it is a Jeep,,will also be more expensive to build and maintain.
2 wheel will be less expensive,, will still be an unusual and fun drag vehicle.
So do what you can do well.
If you build a 2 wheel drive for the strip, no reason you could not convert it to 4 wheel later.

Ya my budget is pretty non existent for this, for now just do with what I got, to start with anyways, I’ll probably start with RWD and go from there, got a 727 in the shed and like you said always can back to AWD.
