1963 Dart Parking Brake Handle

Does anyone have a '63 Dart that they have high confidence the the handle on the parking brake is original and could take a photo of it? I have one other forum member with a '63 and its handle is like the ones from later A-Bodies. Mine has a unique shape to it and it is true balanced "T" shape rather than the later offset "T" with one arm a bit longer than the other.

Do a search on FABO for parking brake handles for sale. IIRC the 67 dart handle closely resembles the 66 and might actually be the same. As you noted the 68 up looks different.

66 and under might be the same too.

If the 64 Valiant is the same, I know mine is original.
 
My 66 is original and is the offset one

Simple I idea I should have thought off.... here is on off eBay... this is what mine looks like...

1963 A-bodies had a one-year-only handle. Offset, but shaped differently than the '64 handle with the word "BRAKE" on its concave front face, or the '68 (maybe '69, certainly by '71) handle with "BRAKE" on a flat front face. Here is an original '63 A-body handbrake. Similar but not identical to this what you're showing us. Take your choice of guesses why yours is different: early production, factory-to-factory variation, original handle broke sometime over the last 57 years and someone replaced it with something they found somewhere that fit…
 
Jim, this '63 is about as original as you will find anywhere. Only pics I have right now that show the e-brake handle, hope this helps!

From your description, it sounds like yours is identical to the one in my '63 posted above.
