My favorite boy, 7 years ago.
I was tasked by parents on his team to go back and find pics of the seniors graduating this year for senior night at the rink.
Too many damn memories dredging up.
Hockey saved this kid.. all his problems were lost when he skated. ADHD, ODD, colorblind. I'm his stepdad, so he had to deal with that too.. frustration in everyday life, trying to find his way.

We were so damn broke that year.. all season we ran on Quik-Trip credit cards.. gas, food, etc.
He's a squirt in this pic. I watched him as a Senior last night.
He's going to graduate this spring.. and I'm going to miss watching him play.
Oh, and he's turning out to be a pretty damn good kid :)
