7.25 Pinion Shaft Removal
Hey guys, rebuilding the 7.25 rear end out of my 65' Valiant. I've gotten the whole thing apart except for the pinion shaft. So far on the shaft I have removed the 1-1/8" nut, washer, flange, and seal. In my service manual it says, that there should be a pinion shaft lock pin. Now I have cleaned and looked around the shaft and see nothing of the sort. After a few wacks with a dead blow it doesn't seem to want to move. Is there something i'm missing here???
