63-66 A-body radio delete plate.

Does anyone know if on a 63-66 radio delete plate the plate was exact color from the factory or just a close color?

While my radio is out being redone for the 66- Barracuda I bought from ValiantPatrol a really nice red radio delete plate. It is just slightly a diffrent color red than my dash. Now my dash was painted 2 years ago by color code but has only 500 miles on it before I put the car away.
I can repaint the same red as dash with the same paint or a tinge off. What will not strike a pose from judges at Carlisle? LOL!

They are the exact color as the dash.

I agree with valiantwagonguy. There may be a shade difference in red's, blue's, etc from year to year. Your delete plate was removed from a '63 Dart. Also, the donor Dart has sat in the desert sun for at least three decades likely causing fading of the original color.

They are the same colour as dash this is the original dash and door panels to car and car was radio delete. Haha slow on the reply
