I have the first book but not the other two. I also have the book by Harold Bettes. Can't think of the name of it, but it's worth owning as well.
Amazon is a good place to begin your search. They used to even notify me before new books were released so I could get on a waiting list.
Books, Books and more Books. I retained more knowledge from Auto/ mechanical books than I did with core subjects throughout my 12 scholastic years.
I did retain the math though and I'm not much of a poet. lol
I do wish some on the forum would pick up a book and then ask the question.

You should hear me sing. They asked me to sing solo at Church. So-low in the back pew so no one can hear me. I was chasing the visitors away. Lol.

I've got this one. Like much of Vizards propaganda I'm not on board, but there is some decent stuff there for beginners.
Ya I didn’t find that one in the house today so it must be on my bookshelf in the shop. I have a habit of taking them back and forth. I also have the manual that Darrin Morgan passed out but you have to take his class to get that one. I bought a special calculator for that class and haven’t touched it since. I also recorded the class as he recommended. I did enjoy the h ad porting DVD’s that are available for sale on Speed Talk from the oldtime Head porters.

Unfortunately for us Mopar guys there aren't any books for SB Mopar heads. Its the casting specific finer points that get lost in these generic books. Fortunately or sometimes unfortunately we have the internet LOL.

Along these lines, what kind of flow benches are you all running? Anyone here try any of the home fabricated ideas over on the flow bench forum at flow bench tech?
Not directly but I can sure hear it. The tools I use (stings, flow balls, duct seal, air speed tools) help me see where it is and isn’t. If I ever lose my hearing or index fingers I’m screwed. Lol

No smoke generator? Also, Pete McCarthy was a good Pontiac porter with a video and some written material. And Jim Hand, also.
Engine Airflow is a good and easy read.

Have you seen them smoke machines that the dealer us to find EVAP leaks?
When i us to work at the chry dealership, i alway wanted to take that machine home and us it on my flow bench(I actually did once...)
For those that don't know what this is, it a smoke machine that seals to your fuel tank neck. Were ever the fuel vapors are leaking it leave a trace of dye behind that you can see with a black light.
With all those books and testing/racing you should be able to write a book.

Lol. Thanks but they would have to hire 25 people just for spellcheck and sentence structure.
I had a ruff example of the PTS (flow bench tech) with my first on. And followed the blueprints on my second one.
I think sever here, have used his plans to build a simple, to sophisticated bench.
