Brake hoses?

Those are A body 73-76 ish calipers. If you had later 82-85 ish diplomat calipers it would take care of that. I would still swap them side to side, but bleed them first off the rotor by putting a block of wood in between the pads to act as a rotor until they are bled, them put them on the car... does that make sense.

this is a later diplomat caliper. If you can visualize this in place of the one you photographed you can see that with the right hose attached to it, oriented away from the shock you’ll have no interference, and less overall movement of the hose.
