hi mr. 383S...

yes, AMD did all the metal work on my car and they did an excellent job. i sent them a second 69 fastback donor car that came from arizona that was perfect. they cut the entire rear/trunk/back seat floor pan out and put it in my car. AMD did use their repo front driver/passenger floor pans and two or their full quarter panels. as such, the car is now absolutely back to stock and OEM specs with not a speck of rust anywhere. i did have AMD put a 4 speed hump in the car as i'm going to build it with a 4sp. it will be the only "real" m-code Cuda with a 4sp. as to the k-frame, i am currently talking with two guys that have original m k frames. i hope i will be able to work out a reasonable deal with one of them. i do want to keep this car as correct as possible. it is never going to be as perfect as the "museum pieces" you see at shows and because some crazy person cut the car up to make a drag car. i am still amazed at someone doing that given how many "regular" 69 fastback Barracuda's that are out there - but hey, there's probably someone out there that cut up an original Yenko Camaro to go drag racing.

Agree with you and it is your car! I am sure AMD did you good as that shop is top notch! The factory 440 cars use a standard 68/69 383 K with modified driver side engine bracket and exhaust manifold. The 67 K, while similar, has only one tab for the idler arm so be picky! Can only assume from our last talk you will have headers and not a stock exhaust.
