Hi all,

I'm looking for rear quarters for my 1965 valiant convertible. Both drivers and passengers side. If anyone knows of someone let me know. So far I only found remanufactured patch panels on Layson's Restorations. Would like to get a full panel from an existing car if possible.

Thank you for your time,

-Jack

No one make them. Laysons has about all that is available, I ordered from them pricey but nice stuff. @rickatlaysons

You might want to look at Desert Valley Auto Parts in Phoenix. I got some lower 1/4/trunk drops from them. Also there's Wildcat Auto Wrecking in Oregon that has tons of old Mopars.

Taking a look at them know, looks promising they have a lot of 65 Barracudas. Would a rear quarter from a Barracuda fit my Valiant? Look very similar.

I believe so at least on 64. Man I hoe you never need a rear valance panel! Took me two years to find a good one.

good morning Jack I have a 65 barracuda I am cutting up for parts. I just walked out and looked at it. the drivers panel is solid except behind the wheel opening. it would need the small patch panel there. the passenger side is not worth my time or yours. this car is outside and I would not get to it until march. I would consider cutting it off rather than scraping it out with the cars remains if you think it is worth it. you are also a long way away.

I looked and looked for quarters for my 65 Valiant station wagon for a good 4 years .One day in 2017 I got a message on here from a guy with a body shop in AR. He had a set of Barracuda quarters .I bought them and am cutting them down to fit. Just keep looking ,someone has them it just takes time.

You can make any 65 Valiant 2 door quarter fit a 4 door or a station wagon. It's easier to work with a full used quarter than to fool around with those patch panels
