Why are you getting rid of it? This allows the steering to be out front where it should be??

SPC uppers
How did you like those? Strength ok? Any other comments please?
My 70 Roadrunner V-code is mostly for cruising around, and some highway trips, but Iike beating on it and rowing the gears down the 1320, and I'm working on a 6XX HP and torque stroker motor too.
In about 2 weeks, I am finally having a complete new front suspension system installed, including a QA1 K-member and ALL of the other front suspension components. They are ALL QA1, except for the UCAs which are the SPCs. One of several reasons why I'm doing the full replacement, and chose the UCAs as the ONLY non-QA1 parts is that although I found 2 different highly recommended, decades long skilled experience front suspension alignment mechanics, they both said that there was not enough adjustment capability in the factory style UCAs. I know about the offset bushing and other parts kits to keep the cam adjustment factory style UCAs, but I got the SPCs because they are so adjustable.

I run the SPC uppers. Only way you can get low and get alignment. They seem fairly stout. 7/16 fine thread bolts at the ends. People always think they are 3/8s. I did swap out the bolts to grade 8.

They are very nice units.

Does it have the original CAP style steering arm on the lbj or the updated one?
