Dumb question- I have a Performer RPM Manifold, and I just installed a new 4 bbl gasket. It hangs over the inside edge a little. Square bore (open) gasket. Do you guys trim yours a little or just bolt it on?

I'd run it like it is. If it bothers you, trim it! 65'

No, It is hanging over the inside edge. I'm thinking fuel might get caught on it. The old gasket seemed to have some fuel saturation on it.

Definitely I would remove it and dremel the outline, obviously watch the vacume ports, dont want develop a leak.

Pictures would help in deciding

Trim it. People spend hundreds to port match intakes and heads. Why leave a big gasket on there to fudge things up below the carb.
