Now I have to ask, How to tag Halfafish to this so he can see itNo. Not every time. It depends on which mounts you use and "where" the engine ends up in the bay as well as which oil pan you use. I did my 65 Valiant from a 225 to a 360 in the 1990s and it fit with the slant six center link. It was close, but it didn't hit. It's just something you have to put together "and see".
No that's ok. He ask me already and I didn't know for sure. I need to link him to this post.I can post the link on your for sale thread if you like
Whats the trick to that George ?@halfafish ^^^^^
Looks like you should be good to go.Thanks. It looks like we have dual threads on this question, I just posted the same question. I'm putting together a 69 BB Dart, and wanted to know if the V8 center link is a necessity. I imagine I will find a slant car to start with, and I have a set of Schumacher slant-to-BB engine mounts on my parts shelf.

Schumacher mounts, I have a set for slant-to-BB and SB-to-BB. I have a 402 pan and a 187 pan on the shelf.
