Mopar offset shackle 3/4 relocation kit

is it possible that the rear offset is more than the front offset ?

Yes the other poster don't get it....but my tape measure is correct.

The front hanger can only move a 1/2”, it hits the frame there. The rear shackles are offset 3/4”.

So, the springs are placed at a slight angle. There are three problems with that- your wheels are still parallel, so the front edge of the tire still only gains about a 1/2” of clearance because it’s fairly close to the hanger. The kit tells you to install the perches at 3/4” inboard, but the full 3/4” isn’t achieved until all the way back at the shackles because of the angle. So the front spring section is side loaded. And then you have the front hanger, which is still parallel to the frame. So the angle is forced entirely into the front eye bushing. And so is the side load.

Yes, I have this kit. You don’t get 3/4” of clearance because you can’t get that at the front hanger. So you can’t run any more tire than a 1/2” offset like DoctorDiff sells. And, you put a bind on the spring and eye bushing, so you don’t even get a nice smooth spring action.

Argue away, I have both kits and have measured them. Angling the springs doesn’t allow you to run bigger tires if the clearance at the front is still the same.
