Borgeson PS Box fitment issue

Has anyone installed a Borgeson PS box and had fitment issues with your headers? The box is hitting my middle "2 into 1" section of the headers to the point that I can't bolt the header back in.

- 1969 Dodge Dart
- 440 Engine w/ Edelbrock Performer heads
- Schumacher /6 to BB motor mounts
- Schumacher Tri-Y headers

I'll try and get some pictures posted tomorrow.

Shim the motor mounts?

Its probably going to be a tight fit regardless. I'd bet the conversion mounts leave a margin of error too.

Thanks for the replies! I ended up heating and denting the tube. Wasn’t my favorite thing to do but....

There is a lot of casting in that area. For guys needing clearance, the last resort options are change the bolts for button heads, grind the corner of the casting and shimming the angle of the box no more than 1/8".
