Just bought this 72 Duster 340 ,,came with another rear end with 8 3/4 center an a 440 fresh build 440 , original drive train gone , but I am going to use the 340 out of my Challenger and put the 340 thats in it an swap to the Duster , I just need an auto tranny or may find a 4 spd setup , unsure yet

You might need a v8 k frame to put a 340 in the duster. I would put a v8 k frame in if it's an original 340 car.

That is a slant six k frame and someone used conversion mounts.

Welcome and sweet sweet duster, great to see more 72 dusters out there.

thanks for the welcomes,,will be stripping it down all the way,,but have to finish my 79 f100 project , but it should be done this spring, couldn't pass this one up in my home town , I am sell this 440 as I have another one I am going to build for my challenger, and pull the 340 with six pack out of challenger an transplant into this duster ,
