dana 60 posi truth please.

i have a 2 pinion posi for a dana 60. it is for the 456 gears and up. i have asked some other "folks that are in the know". can i use this carrier on a 410 gear with a spacer? about 50/50, yes and no. i forgot the carrier dimension but will go get it in little bit. what is the correct answer please? when is the spacer needed? going to a 410 or 373 for wagon

years ago the spacers were used to put 4.56 an lower gears on a 4.10/3.55 carrier, so I think your the wrong way, but I think they make 4.10 gears for both carriers so you should be able to use what you have.

Actually, LOL that is not what Dana/ Spicer called limited slip, either
Trac-Lok, maybe?
Who cares what Dana called it? In Mopar-speak and in the sales literature, the limited slip differentials were referred to as Sure Grip.
Now, it certainly doesn't roll off of the tongue like Posi does but it the correct terminology.
