I am selling my 1965 Valiant Signet Convertible. I had listed this back in 2017. This car was factory ordered with the 225 slant 6 (I incorrectly listed it prior as a 170) with the Hurst 4 speed. Quite a rare combination. I am the second owner of the car and drove it for some time about 20 years ago until the engine started knocking. I put the car in storage and it has stayed in storage since then. This was great car to drive, the 4 speed got it up to speed surprisingly well. This car has spent it’s entire life in western New York State. The winters and salt have not been kind to it. It is complete and original. It will need a complete restoration or as a donor vehicle. It has the power top, black bucket interior, bronze exterior with a black top. Approximately 2578 Signet Convertibles were built in 1965, how many had the 225 with the Hurst 4 speed option? Not many I’m sure. I have many other projects and need to move this car. My storage space is limited. It is actually on my trailer now and I will need my trailer this spring, so I have reduced the price to $950.00. I may be able to deliver it within 200 miles or so for additional mileage costs. Or we can load it on your hauler. The pictures show the general state of the car. Contact me if you have questions or want additional photos. Thank you for looking. I hope it finds a new home! The car is located near Niagara Falls, NY.
