Can anyone verify a difference in door glass. Is 67-68 fastback door glass different than 1969 fastback door glass?

The front plastic window guide is attached by two white plastic pins on my '68.

The reason I ask is if there is a difference in the glass due to the relocation of the door lock. It was rumored to me that 69 is different as to how it attaches to the regulator.

Well if there is a difference the regulator wouldn't work out if you put a 67 or 68 regulator in a 69 door. I have a friend that has a 69 and he needs the drivers side door glass for his fastback. I personally don't think the location of the lock would have anything to do with the glass or the regulator but he does. I have done a lot of parts swapping on these cars but never done this one so that's why I am asking.

Did you check the link? Look at the 1st pic, there is a white plastic piece on the lower left hand corner of the glass.
Do you or your buddy have a parts manual? Compare the parts numbers.
Why wont a 68 regulator and 68 window work in a 67-9 door?

I don't know. That's why I am asking. He is the one that wants the glass from a 69. I have 67 and 68 glass. I am merely trying to find out from some one who may actually know.

The way the glass mounts in the track is different in 69. You could find a 69 glass or change out the regulator assy to a 67-68.

Well, I showed you the link that shows(I think) the differences. Im probably going to sound like a prick here, but NO EXCUSE to not have parts or service manuals. They are YOUR cars and they are over 50 years old. Manuals are free for crying out loud. Sorry but I see LOTS of posts where members are needing help and too LAZY to help themselves.
Ive shown pics and other members have said they are different, what more does your buddy need? Besides manuals.....
Again sorry, but you keep saying this wont work or that wont work....

No problem. It's not my problem I was just fishing for some insight for him. If it was my problem I would have done the research or hands on solved my own problem. I messaged him and told him of this thread the rest is up to him. I've been playing with these cars since 1977. It's just one of those things or problems that once in awhile come along.

Yep sorry for the "crustiness". Ive peeled apart a few cuda doors from 67-9, and I knew there was a difference of some sort. a 68 reg and window "should" work in a 69 door. Steer your friend to mymopar.com for the manuals. Parts manuals are handy as hell.
