10's on $5,000 ?

I had a 1975 Fury wagon. Not a Grand Fury. The Fury wagon was a B body that year....... like a Coronet wagon.
318 2bbl, unknown gears...... 2.76’s or 2.94’s my guess.
All stock, but slightly de-smogged.
No egr, no Cat, recurved distributor, tweaked the carb, rebuilt the 904 and put a shift kit in it........ 150,000 miles on it.
17.8’s iirc.
That would have been around 1991.

With the smog stuff gone and the dist/carb tweaked...... it was actually pretty responsive to drive.
A friend of mine had a 79 Dodge Magnum, also a 318-2bbl...... but not de-smogged, and i think it had a lock-up converter maybe?
(I looked it up....... lock up converter and lean burn)

Man, that was an extremely dissatisfying driving experience.
The car was cool, but the way the factory had the drivetrain set up just sucked.

The 3.55’s in the truck should work pretty well.
