Yeah I can tell the finish is different but the color is too. It's way darker.....and it;s not faded. I'm just going to sand it down and hit it with flat red.
That is typical and correct. If you are not happy then by all means change it to your liking! They were that way for what was deemed a good reason at the time by some engineering group.
