yea i refuse to add something like that under the hood. looks too out of place for our car. couple friends run the tanks inc efi tank and don't have any issues with it. i think i'll be ok.
I hear you. Most people never pay attention to it though, and I am not into keeping everything stock looking. I like performance and drive the car to its limits.
The aftermarket tanks are a good choice for those that don't drive their cars hard on road courses etc. It also helps if they keep those tanks more than half full.
