Stop in for a cup of coffee

So making a list, trying to price some things out for this swap meet in a couple weeks. Not sure what a couple of these things would be worth

73-76 Dart/Scamp doors, pair. no rust, with internals
383 short block, unstuck, this is the one with the 12:1 pistons, will need at least honed.
68 906 heads
318 bare block
360 crank
If i posted this on the old dodge truck forum, i would get scolded and it would get moved to the sale thread.
There is a prickly stick up the moderator’s *** over there.

If it is, i have a cool one too!
Will have to find it though.

Some sort of riveting tool?
We were going thru a bunch of parts bins in the Hershey car show, and Ray had decided to buy a bunch of NOS ign. parts. One of us came across this tool, some sort of c clamp that fits in a bench vice. "Hey, that will be perfect for putting on those Dist. tags"! How much? One dollar!! Sold!!! And it is perfect. Evidently it is difficult to put those small rivets in place....Not any longer!!
Do not know what it was designed to do......

I think that’s a rivet tool for making blue jeans. I recall seeing them for sale in the needle trade shops that I used to buy my equipment and supplies from back when I was doing my auto upholstery business.

Looks something like this.

industrial duty. Punches them out as well. Up to 5/16” diameter if i recall.

Working on the sled and got it running great now that it has new points and condensers, but it keeps fouling the clutch side plug. Seems to be getting to much fuel, both plugs are black, but the mag side stays running. Of course this isnt the stock carb so trying to tune something that was just thrown on the machine could be interesting.. Got some good vintage sled pages I've been using so I'll get it figured out eventually

You might be right, it looked like it was designed to cut the hole, the punch was sharp....

Probably designed to punch the hole and then fix the rivet without needing a separate tool to do each. Similar tools are used in leather working for punching holes and fixing the rivet.

Same side as fuel pump impulse line? Fuel pump diaphragms rupture and leak.
Type of choke? Mikuni?

If its a mikuni, the enrichener can stick, as well as the floats.
The mikuni is tilted at about 15* so I adjusted the float stop in the bowl to not allow so much fuel but I dont know if that is working. I would have to custom make some sort of adapter to get the mikuni to sit level.
