Just wondering if anyone knows if there was a GT Sport offered in 67? I've seen some that had a tail stripe that said Gt Sport and recently found a car that the fender tag indicates it had a horizontal stripe in 67?

All the 67 GTS's were 383's

This is the stripe in question. I didn't think this was the correct year stripe as 67 didn't offer that to my knowledge. This is just an example but I've seen that stripe on a few 67s. Not referring to a Gts car.

I don't believe any bee stripe was offered in 67. I had a 68 twin stripe painted on my 67 GT. Part of the reasoning is the peak molding running all the way to the quarter tip. You wouldn't have a stripe if these kind of moldings came on your car. I'm not positive but I believe all 67 GT's came with these moldings. IMHO they look great with a stripe.

I have a 67 that had a bumblebee stripe. Lettering is Dart on the top and GT using the 67 font for the badges and hood lettering.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, but your stripe is something added aftermarket. Just so no one is confused, it did not come from Dodge like that, at least not out of the factory.

Definitely didn’t come from Dodge like that in 1967 but looks hella good....

Nice cars everyone. I have never been a fan of the tail stripe myself. They can look good when done right. I made a typo when I was decoding the fender tag on this car. It's a cool option 67 Gt. White with copper interior. I thought that was a bit odd of a choice but still cool.

No idea but I am happy to trace it for you and send it hard or soft copy.

I appreciate it, but I am looking for a font to use on a shirt for my 67 Dart GT. And all I can find are people talking about the new Dart fonts, or the Dodge font with the line through it font.

They never used off the shelf fonts. They had huge art departments that created their own lettering designs. Probably still do.
