Decent Slant 6 carb, intake, header setup

I'm thinking probably didn't dial in the motor with the rearend gears etc. slantsix' s need 3.55 to get up and go. But regardless have both a fast slant and a fast v-eight. Funny though when I pull up the v-8 car no one wants to race , it's always with my dart lol.

The gear ratio was a somewhat rare ratio just under 3 to 1. I can't remember now.Doug Dutra recommended it, so I ran it. They were nearly perfect for the torque curve of the motor he build for me, but not ideal for quarter mile racing. They were sure nice on the freeway, but I never got better than 14- 15 mpg at 70mph.

Now days, I'm running 3.91's with a .67 overdrive and lock-up converter spun by an injected 408 Magnum. I get 17 mpg at 70 mph with the top down and it runs in the low 12's high 11's.
