Cars like this one are getting harder and harder to come by these days. This 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Notchback Restoration Project was in storage since 1995! This is a bucket seat automatic console car. I believe it is also a woodgrain wheel hiding under that steering wheel cover. This car is an excellent restoration project, it is the perfect starting point and priced to sell quick. After I got it I pulled the plugs and soaked the motor for a week. I then primed the oiling system changed the oil and gave it a tune up, hooked it up to a gas can and it fired right up and ran excellent. I then sprung for a new gas tank and sender. It runs but I can hear the beginning of a rod knock when the rpms come up. I pulled the new oil filter and cut it open and found some metal shavings in the fresh oil filter. You can rebuild the slant six or yank it and go v8. The body of this car is overall solid. A lot of the paint appears to be original but some areas have been re painted. THE GREY SPOTS YOU SEE ARE PEELING PAINT EXPOSING PRIMER The floors are very solid just a few pin holes here and there. The trunk is solid also just surface rust here and there. The spare tire well is solid, and it has the original jacking items. The frame rails and cross member are solid. The interior is all original, bucket seats, floor console and woodgrain wheel. It has the original hubcaps and steel wheels. It is a nice original survivor type car.
I have a clear NC title in my name it is my own personal car I am not a dealer. No financing, No trades, no lowballs, dont need the money just need the space $3995.00
