Chrome ECU equivalent???

LMAO..chrome and gold are EXCELLENT boxes..a complete M.S.D. system CAN be touched by anything MoPar makes..have run 2 different M.S.D. on my dusters and they always Baffled me on how in the world they performed flawlessly, something that could NEVER be said EVER about MSD ignition systems:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I made the proper corrections above for you.
Just the facts below.

My early American Orange Boxes, perfect u til they were sold with the car. Shortest ownership time was 5 years.
My Chrome box, better than 26 years and counting.

I drank the MSD cool aid and finally came down from there false high after many glasses downed.
9 MSD boxes, 8 failures. 5 coils, 4 failures, 2 distributors, 2 failures.

1 chink Orange box failure.

Drank FBO cool air, tastes good! Zero failures.
Out powered the MSD & MP units.

M - May
S - suddenly
D - Die

Now before you label me a MSD hater, which is mostly correct but not 100% correct, I do recommend a multi spark box for daily drivers and mileage gains.
Every claim MSD makes except more & better power which should equal better track results right? I agree with. I have my one and only MSD 6A hi still working after 20 years. It added mileage, smoother starts and longer plug life while dropping emissions (when it needed to pass the tail pipe test way back when) on my old ride.

I also have a Jacobs multi spark ignition that is awesome and still working for 20+ years.

There are benefits to a multi spark high energy ignition. It just depends on the maker and arena it is used in.

MSD is NOT an option. Unless the option is failure.
