Received a box of Mopar Linkages today in hopes that some of these will work on my setup.
Do you guys know a way of telling what some of these fit? Is there a source online or somewhere that would help? I have kick down, throttle brackets and carb linkages Z bars etc... 72 Dart with 360 Magnum with Holley carb, 727 trans

Thank you in advance for any help

My guess is that it won’t get you anywhere without pictures of what you have.

In addition- explain what set-up you have. What engine, tranny, car you have. We can show pictures of linkage that is needed.

360 Magnum with a Holley Carb, 727 trans.
What intake?
You mentioned Z-bar. That's generally for shift linkage. If also talking shift linkage, then what shifter or selector.

Here's my 5.9 with an Edelbrock Air Gap, Edelbrock 750 hooked up to a 904. I used the original throttle cable bracket and kickdown bracket from the 273. For the throttle cable bracket, I just used a length of steel pipe as a stand off. It works great. I haven't had the car on the road yet to see how the kickdown will work but it seems to be good to go. I should have my power steering gear back from Steer and Gear this week. Then I'll be on the road! Let me know if I can get any other pictures for you.

(The yellow wires are old ones just to get it going. I have a new set of Edelbrock wires that came free with the Air Gap)!

Empty the box out on the kitchen table(if you dont have a kitchen table the dinning room table will work just fine ) spread the stuff out take pictures and post them here, this way we can tell you what you wont need and let you give it to us.

Funny thing. After looking at the pictures and seeing the scratched up kickdown linkage, I took it off and painted it.

It's not a show car but I want it looking good the first drive with the new engine, lol.

Nice clean simple setup though.

interesting throttle bracket. Is that homemade?

I used the bracket from the 273 4 bbl intake. Then took a 2.75" piece of steel pipe to lift it high enough to match the carb. It works well in the garage and I'm hoping it will work well on the road.

Someone here made a bracket that looked awesome. I commented on their post to let me know if they made more and I would buy one! It might have been @12many or @318willrun

I didn't make any brackets. I just bent the daylights out of them for whatever my need was... LOL

Was it this one here? Purely an improvised bracket solely for the Lokar style currently being used, but I also made accommodations for my planned heavy duty push pull type cable setup, thus the reason for the long length flat “runner” and the adjustable small angle bracket for that cable. Not compatible with a factory clamped style cable or any kickdown linkage.

@12many That's the one! I may fab something close to that. I like that you have 2 vertical brackets for strength.

I have my Motor done and it is on the stand now, I am going to run a similar set up with a Air Gap intake and a Hughes cam. Can you tell me a little more about your setup? I am running stock heads all I did was gasket matched them and a mild Hughes .500 .506 roller 214* 218* @.50 what size carb do you have?

I bet you are as ready to get it running as I am!!! I'm a patient man, but it's getting more difficult the closer it gets!!

My 5.9 came from a 2001 van. I stripped it down and took it into a shop for rings and bearings. He also honed cylinders and polished the crank.

I sent the stock cam to Ken at Oregon Cam Grinding for his 1280 grind. 517, 216 @.50 on 110 (I think!). Got a black Friday deal on Edelbrock heads. And went with Comp Cams roller rockers. I bought a 750 Edelbrock carb from a great member of FABO. Also got a black Friday deal on Doug's headers. It sounded strong when I got it running, but I couldn't get the steering gear from leaking so I sent it to Steer and Gear for a rebuild. They just billed me today so hopefully I'll have it this week and get everything buttoned up soon! Oh, also called PTC and they built a 9.5" torque converter for the 904. Should be somewhere around 3200 stall but he assured me that it will have great street manners.

Was going to run the valve covers and air cleaner from the old 273 but I think I'm going to go with M/P instead. No hurry though.

Nice setup, I had a 64 and a 65 Barracuda back in the early 70's both were 273 4 speeds I had a good time driving those cars. Wish I still had them... Good luck with you project.
