Torque Converter fitment question

Finally picked it up. NO markings except what looks like a transmission side balancing weight that says 10. All well and good, but this TC is for a 727. So the prophecy of AutoZone fitment guide being not up to par remains true. The big thing I missed is in the description that lists the size of the TC.

This is the correct one, which I would have known if I had asked what the diameter for a 904 vs 727 was.

904
"5.4" Overall Height, 130 Tooth Wide Ring Gear, with Forged Crank, No Weights, 5/16-18 Mounting Bolts. Non-Lockup, 11" Diameter, 24 Splines, 1.810" Pilot, Slotted Hub, 4 Lug Mount, 10" Bolt Circle"
vs
727
"130 Tooth Narrow Ring Gear, with Steel Crankshaft, No Weights. Non-Lockup, 12" Diameter, 24 Splines, 1.810" Pilot, Slotted Hub, 4 Lug Mount, 11" Bolt Circle."

Oh well, it was too cold to change the transmission in the driveway today anyway.
.

The CR10L as you have found out, is also a 727 converter.
I have a ATC-PRO-KING catalog in front of me, and the proper converter for the 225 or 318 is their part number CR8L for the low stall and CR8H for the higher stall. AZ's cataloging on converters is wrong in so many places it's unbelievable! They have no listing for the 318/904 period from what I can find, only the 727.
Good luck on the latest transmission and converter. If I can be of any further help to you, drop me a P.M.
