Going from aluminum fittings directly into zinc coated metal fittings. Is there any problem with this? There is a drastic difference in the prices of some of the fittings going from one material to the next.. thank you for anybody's experience..

For an example here's a couple different ones that I was looking at.. The second one my local parts store wants 32.99 each...??!!!!!

These little things are smaller than my pinky and they want more for them...lol...

Industrial JIC or 37 degree are the same as AN different materials
That quick! You already lost me...
Are the two compatible? As in okay to go from aluminum fitting in my nitrous plate to steal zinc fitting elbow to aluminum fitting?..

I've used alumnium fittings on steel adapters with no problems. I can't imagine the fitting companies would sell many steel adapter fittings (or even make them) if using them with aluminum AN fittings was an issue.

I just like to check with the experienced LOL... Kind of what the forum is for helping each other out. I appreciate you chiming in with an answer and I'm probably just going to go ahead and save myself another $15 an order the top one. I don't need to save 3 oz of weight and there's a little elbows that are going to go in between the two carburetors so they're not going to be highly visible either..

hope not, been mixing whatever i had on hand for may moons. never had a problem

nitrous is pretty inert, wouldn't worry about it
I had to have my wife translate that word for me LOL.. you're not dealing with the most learned it but I'm trying...
Thank you!.. I think this is a spot I can save a few bucks and not be worried...

While I’m at it... lol
I don’t use the supplied 1/8NPT to -3an male/male fitting for the solenoid to braided hose found in some nitrous kits. I also don’t use the supplied -3an female/female braided hose from solenoid to nitrous plate.
I eliminate as many fittings as possible by using a 1/8NPT braided line from the solenoid to the -3an plate.
So I eliminate the pictured fitting and use the pictured braided line.
I’m “sensitive” to the anodized aluminum fittings, I like to use blues and red fittings as much as possible.. lol

Sometimes they leak, you can fix it by putting lapping compound on the mating surface and lapping it in.

You’re going from nitrous plate to nitrous line?

On the nitrous plumbing A1A I have some pictures of my setup.. I was just looking for some quick answers to some and fittings I was purchasing.. just more wanted to make sure the metal zinc wasn't going to have an adverse effect fitting to aluminum..
In the end all for naught as when I went to order I fell short of the promo and ended up spending extra $15 on aluminum fittings to get the promo and and got them for just a couple more dollars each in the end.. story of my life I can't win or I did win LOL I'll never know...

Zinc and aluminum don't play well together. I'd stick with all steel and brass, or all aluminum and brass. Cadmium is the right plating to use on steel to avoid problems with aluminum. Type II decorative anodize isn't dielectric enough for me to be comfortable with it against zinc plated parts, personally.

It's not guaranteed to cause a problem, but with stuff that can burn or explode I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'd avoid those drilled 90 degree fittings as much as you can. The flow loss with those things is HUGE. A radius tube is much better, but not as cheap.

I call those drilled pieces "tractor" fittings because that's about all I'd use them on.

I agree with YR... But at your nitrous level, I really wouldn’t worry about it as your 90* fittings aren’t on the fuel side...

If you want to do something nice use the pictured items and fab up some nice lines....

Perhaps I’m confused. You seem to have the correct lines, but not connected to the right ports.
Simply turn around the bottom plate. Hook the blue lines to the blue fittings and the same for the red fittings.
The “Tee” fittings look like the have 1/8” NPT threads that will go into your solenoids....
Use what you got...
