Imagine a dual quad tunnel ram that someone flattened: take your hands and put them together like you are praying, there is your tunnel ram. Now fold your fingers together like your going to crack your knuckles..there is the STR cross runner pattern. Put the carbs at each side over the opposite feeding runners. The plenum volume was huge, should have come stock with 2 core plugs what would blow out before the top cracked and buckled during a backfire. Triple check your timing and spark plug routing before you break it in! I went from this to a Strip Dominator and picked up a tad on the low end but felt it was a little soft up top, like the power band on the SD was lower than the STR? SD was supposed to be good to 8000 but I never got it that high.
