I'm interested, as my wipers have only low or high speed. Does this have intermittent wiping capability or ?? How would you describe the "variable speed" business?

Not to hijack, but variable means speeding up or slowing down. Intermittent to me means stop and go at different speeds.
A bodies (as far as i know) never had intermittent...variable yes.
Hope that makes sense?

Thanks Steve, that's what i was assuming, speed up or slow down. Given the rainy mess I live in, intermittent is likely a better choice.

What Steve said above. These variable units allow dial control to run wipers very slowly and through up to high speed, allowing various dialed speeds in between low to high. Old school "intermittent", sort of, ha ha ha!
