It never ends. Leaky selector shaft seal.

Your problem looks like the lingage is flexing the shaft. Just look at the picture and you can see the shift linkage and the throttle pressure leavers are binding. I'll bet if you take the levers off the leak will stop.. Had one come here that was leaking. The lokar throttle pressure wasn't install properly.

The issue I see is that #1: the lug that fits into the lever isn't square with the lever and 2: there's no washer under that cotter.
I prefer washers under cotter pins because I've see the use of the 'thing' wear through the cotter pin at inopportune times. If you straighten up the angle of the dangle, you should be able to fit a washer on there.

Well just got to work, and my keys are not there, which means they are officially lost.

So pissed

My dad is Master Lock and Key in Longmont.....He's a cranky old bastard but he's knows what he's doing and he's SUPER particular. He's a also a Chevy guy, so pick your poison, but I bet he can impression a key and save you a buncha hassle.

(Don't let him see your Hillary '16 stickers)

I may have to call him, but I'll give it a couple more days to see if I can locate the keys.
As far as the washer under the cotter pin, I'm running without cause there just isn't room for a regular washer . Maybe I'll hit the hardware store and see if I can find something really thin that I can fit in there.

And no worries, ain't no Hillary stickers on my car.

Did you go in the trunk for anything. were you wearing a jacket, sweatshirt, etc. top of tool box.
I was in the trunk a couple times, but with only one set of keys, I'm very careful not to lay them down in the trunk. Not sayin' they ain't in there, but probably not. I've checked all my pants, jackets, checked all the laundry. Looked around the shop multiple times and in the house. it's just frustrating, but I'm not giving up yet.

Whenever I lose something and I look around for it for a while, then stop and think about it, I find that I' have usually stopped at a point where I'm in line with the item; either in front of me or behind me. Distance can vary greatly.

The St Anthony prayer works for me all the time. give it a try and make sure to thank him when its found.

I'm afraid I don't know that one.
I've also pretty much given up on finding them. Two possibilities at this point, They are actually lost, or I closed them in the trunk.
I've found online, I can get a whole new lock and key set, doors, trunk, and ignition, for like $60 so I may go that route. But I'll still have to find a way to get the trunk open.

St Anthony please look around something is lost and cannot be found. Good luck
