Not for this site but finished the 68 fastback street machine and now starting my # matching 71 challenger rt 340 4 sp car. Fender tag shows tx9 with chartreuse stripe kit but its brown right now and going back in black. Motor is getting cleaned up at the machine shop already and all parts ordered. .030 over already so hone only. New 10200703 lunati w springs etc. Ld340 intake and brawler 750 with" phenolic plate. Going with steelies and dog dish caps. Got a mint set and has a 3.23 sure grip in there but might swap for 3.55s. Got the centerforce dual friction clutch kit. This is a 2-3 month resto. Doing engine bay in black so thats done then drive it for the summer. Exterior paint at the end of the year.
Gotta get the demon in paint this spring so i can assemble at leasure over the summer. Thats my plans and will post the rest of the build on the e body site.

Well paint was the year end goal which means being done with metal fab. Then I took on the Shaker Hood challenge so, maybe that's my goal... get Shaker and all fab work done

Now, that cuda is too cool! It takes a lot of vision and engineering to accomplish something like that. Simply awesome!
If you're referring to the pink car with the Shaker, it's not mine and the only A body pic ive seen with a Shaker. If you're referring to the other car, that's mine and thank you !

well, not a whole lot, refab the fuel system to include a return line
swap out the exhaust for one i picked up here
since that one has an O2 bung, ill install an AFR guage and update the oil pressure gauge to match

Well the plan is mid Sept to take the 65 Dart ragtop starting in Mpls, MN heading straight south to Galena, Kansas and jumping on Route 66 and heading W to the coast. We're taking 3 weeks or so for the entire trip, taking our time with a lot of stops and no schedule. She wants to go to San Diego, so once we get to Santa Monica we'll head down the coast to SD then start heading back. We should be heading back 1st week of Oct thru Denver and Lincoln to see family and friends on way back to Mpls. Don't want to be coming thru Denver much later you never know with there weather. Kinda of a bucket list trip with the Dart, we've talked about it forever and decided we're not getting any younger lets do it :)

Anybody reached their goals yet? I “kinda” got my new mufflers in, hopefully finish that up tomorrow or Sunday. Got the HDK disassembled to take to get powdercoated so there’s at least progress there. Haven’t done squat to improve the interior yet other than buy parts

  • I lowered the ET in 1 Duster.... (1/2 accomplished 1st goal)
  • Going to take a vacation in a Van real soon, but not the van in the 1st post picture ( 2nd goal will be accomplished)
  • no interior work (fail)

I changed my vote... was originally "get it running" but now, of course, "go faster" :) (put on the massaged aluminum heads).

I've got my trunk floor in, that's 1!
Engine is in, waiting on me to rebuild the carb, almost 2.
Will be starting on the interior soon., that just leaves getting it running.
Already have insurance and registration, soon as it's running it's going for a ride.

Recently finished install of the loved and often hated 292 mopar cam in my 1974 dart sport 360. Took out the mopar 280 cam. Also swapped 3.55s out for 3.91's. Went from an airgap to a victor 340 intake and already had a 9.5" FTI 3400-3600 stall converter. So I guess will go faster. Cam went in advanced 4°. Car still on stands sounds healthy and seems to be more responsive as it revs up!:steering:

I have so many parts left to find....and some of them will not be cheap.....so I guess my goal for the rest of this year and next is to keep driving and enjoying Vixen!

Jan 9, 2020 like to get my damn express truck on the road... maybe EFI on the dart too,, :)

8-29-2020
well haven't done either.. really haven't worked on the truck at all. i did buy the EFI fuel tank for the dart but thats as far as that got... i did finally figure out the issue with the dart front end.. a bad MOOG lower ball joint was binding since day one. fixed it, got it aligned and it steers better then it ever has. have put more miles on it then this year then the last three combined. also put headlight relays in it which made a big difference.
