Jodi told me we hit 40 below with windchill today! Highway is open again. I shoveled snow for a bit this afternoon, Hemi stayed in the doorway and gave me a serious WTF Dad look.
Can you blame him? Im lucky i can plow up to every doorway.

From personal experience I can say that there is a vast difference between the normal summer time desert heat and those days the monsoons visit with their increased humididity
105° during a monsoon makes 117° and 4% humidity look real good
I figured out a plan for the neighbor across the street. I checked my bulbs, 26 watt fluorescent, may downsize them for temporary. That bulb is the max for those fixtures, don't know what that equates to, gonna check but I think 75 or 100 watt's worth of lumens. Anyway, I wanted to put more privacy looking up my driveway to the house from the street anyway, that's why I didn't "limb up" one of the evergreens at the front of the property, just mow around it, not under. Anyway, we were already planning trees in the spring from a place called "Big Trees" that sells pretty good sized ones and can deliver/plant, so we'll add two trees for Dave and Darawan : ) He's 59 and told me yesterday "the wife is pregnant". Wow, he's going to need his sleep come June lol!

92* with 90% humidity feels like 131* F.
Hot is hot, no matter how you describe it. Calling it “dry” doesn’t make it any more tolerable.

We were dry here too for that timeframe, got some last week and our builder is setting up a tent for the stone work tomorrow, guess it's going to rain some more!

I would like to take a minute to share a moment in my life today... My baby girl turned 21 years old today...she has grown up so fast and, she is her own person and doesnt care what anybody thinks...and I love that about her..its not flashy things and stuff like that for her. She is a jeans and hoody kinda girl... very rarely wears make up...just not her thing. Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter. I love you!!
Damit. cruze showed up. So i start truck to drive to shop and warm it up some.
accelerator seems weird. Yup, froze. Great.flip key off. Try to get it moving. No.
So cruze stays outside truck goes into shop. Its frozen in 4 lo from plowing. Doh! has to heat up the 4wd actuator as back tires are spinning.
turn off engine, shift to neutral, key on and wait for 4wd to engage. It does. Now do a full throttle brake stand into shop and onto hoist. Did i mention its -29 now? Ya. Little evening excitement.
Good part is truck will be warm in the morning. Just a 300 foot -30 trudge in the morning.

I can relate, my daughter turned 15 this past Fall and it is a joy watching her become her own person and claiming her life on her terms.
I also enjoy that she loves my Mopar!
That's great! Mine bought an El Camino, flew to Texas (packing), drove it home to New Orleans.
