I switched for purely because I'm trying to use all period correct parts from the late 70's early 80's. I know not everyone agrees but I love old tech

I also switched because I have a deep pan. Also I switched out the old soft 318 torsion bars for 103's. I was able to lift the front end up just so the front of the car sits just below level with the rear. I'm running tall skinny Pro Trac's up front and the tires do kiss one tube on each side.

What tire diameter? Street driven? My 165r-15's (approx. 25.50" dia,) rub more than one Hooker tube on the right turn drive way entrances and such.

OP, when/if you go the TTI site, make sure you read all the footnotes they provide for a particular header set.

383s dont believe anyone ask your 2 cents

Yes you did. You asked everyone's 2 cents. You did. You also have the same internet as everyone else. You've been given brand names. Look them up. It's not difficult.
