SSBC rear disc brake help!!!

Looking for some insight on SSBC rear disc brakes.

I bought a set of the SSBC rear disc brakes (A-155, single piston) a couple years back for my 69 RR. Well I finally decided to install them on the car with the plans to go 4 wheel disc. But for some reason it doesn’t look right to me. I noticed that both calipers are for the right side & labeled 2424R. To top it off SSBC is not longer in business so I can’t get answers from them, go figure. I’ve seen a couple old forums stating they have the same 2 calipers, with one caliper mounting towards the rear of the rotor and the other mounts towards the front. The instructions suck *ss and the catalog states it comes with 2424L and 2424R caliper (left & right).

Has anyone installed a set of these on their car before? Any info, instructions & pictures would be greatly appreciated. Starting to think I wasted my money on these.
 
I installed them over 10 years ago and had no problem. You might contact Summit or Jegs to see if they still have inventory. They both show some SSBC items in their on-line catalogs. Also, I'm sure that those calipers are not custom-made. Betting that they can be cross-referenced to some make/model production car (could be Mustang?).

I know the calipers and pads are the same used on the 87-88 Thunderbird turbo.

Do you remember how yours were mounted on? Both calipers to the rear? Or is one in the rear and one mounted towards the front of the rotor?
 
I just went thru this with my car. We installed their set -up back in 2004.The SSBC caliper parking brake ratchet failed. The replacement is Ford T-bird,I ordered it for a 1993. Got the replacement at AutoZone only difference is where the park brake cable attaches at the park brake arm.I had to use a small cable clamp as the arm has a large attachment compared to the SSBC. Mine are mounted both to the rear.

I know they are not mounted front/rear. I'll have to look at it when I get home later to verify which way they are mounted though. My memory isn't that good!

Both calipers to the top/rear, maybe 45° CW from 12:00 if you look at the driver's side. Passenger side is about 45° CCW from 12:00.
 
Bit late ...Bit I'm doin a kit today....
By the way...its not the best kit I've ever fitted but....

So...I had these on my 67 Satellite. I just looked through some pictures and it looks to me like, the right rear caliper was mounted forwards the front of the car and, left rear caliper was mounted towards the rear of the car....if that helps at all.

That's not how they went on my '69 Dart 8 3/4. Both calipers to the rear/top.
 
I zoomed in and you can see on it they were offset, one to the front and, one to the rear. Not sure if you could put them on wrong? 1st picture is right side and, 2nd one is left side. You kind of have to look between the slicks to see the caliper on the 1st picture.
