I think your looking at it all wrong.
You obviously had a well ported head, yet the stock TF out performed.
Now put a much bigger cam, and raise you shift point. let them TF Breath.
Keep in mind the TrickFlow Head is a nicely cnc ported head. Not your typical out of the box heads that we are used to. He need a bigger cam. Hopefully at least a solid lifter cam from Racer Brown or someone that can take advantage of the head flow.
