Thanks for the clarification on the terminology- head restraints vs head rests! Seems like everyone who posted called them “head rests”, as I suspect probably 99% of the general population will do as well!
Head restraints (also called headrests) are an automotive safety feature, attached or integrated ... and were mandated by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in all new cars sold in the U.S. after 1 January 1969.
