/6 with AC

Does anyone have a /6 with factory AC that would take a lot of photos of the various brackets for the compressor, hoses, hose routing, dryer mounting, condenser and mounting, etc for me?

Trying to get a list of items I need to find for a factory AC setup.

Thanks.
Jim

Here is some info I’ve learned about the early A factory AC:

A hard part to find most likely will be the drier and possible the water control valve. The drier is not your typical vertical drier due to lack of space in the early A narrow and cramped engine compartment - but a horizontal mounted drier that is installed on the flat area of the passenger inner fender. 65 and 66’s used the same drier and water control valve. The water control valve is vacuum operated rather than with a control cable. When you find a drier, send it to Classic Air in Tampa and get it rebuilt.

Slant AC hoses are different in length (and thus have different part numbers) than the V8 hoses. Classic Air will also rebuild all the hoses with new barrier hose and refinish the
Mounting hardware. They can also rebuild the compressor. I had all this done as I wanted everything under the hood to look and work as OEM.

The mounting holes on the core support are already punched for the factory condenser.

For the 65 Dart another hard part to find will be the HVAC bezel since not that many 65’s were equipped with factory AC.

The underdash AC components are the same whether for a slant or V8. I “think” I still have an original early A heater and AC box that mount to the firewall if interested.

i can take pics of individual parts from a slant that had factory AC if needed.

EDIT: the 2 mounting points for the bracket that holds the drier and the 3 mounting points that secure the water valve brackets have the indentations on top of the passenger inner fender. Just need to drill them to the appropriate size.
