I need to figure what speedometer gears I need for my buildsIs there a chart available or can someone help me please
A833 3.73 gears p245/60r15
A833 3.55 gears p245/60r15
P255/70r15

Somebody 'splain to me why the colors are important? I don't get it.
 
Probably a production line assembly efficiency concern. Quick referencing. All one color and the time to verify tooth count via reading the number molded into the plastic is not productive and certainly nobody is going to count teeth. A bunch of same color pinions in marked bins still leaves room for mixup. My wild guesses
