I'm gonna have to disagree with that. It depends on the hood, and the area of the country. Some hoods, like 70-72 Dodge A body, are hard to find now. Heater boxes are 45-50 yrs old and dry out, fiberglass cracks up.
This is a hobby, for most of us. Not everyone can afford to truck a nice hood across the country from Arizona or somewhere. Yes, it's a shame to part out a decent car. If it was in my driveway now, I wouldn't have the coin to put gas in yet another old car.
